Amos Allen

In his only season at USD, Allen, a senior running back from Miami, Fla., left a lasting impression on the Coyote football program. In the team's season finale against North Dakota, Allen set the Coyote single-game record by rushing for 306 yards on 32 carries while also scoring two touchdowns.

He finished the season with 1,961 rushing yards, which was the best performance in the nation. For the season, he finished with 17 touchdowns and 2,137 all purpose yards.

The Coyote football team finished last season 6-5, in its last year at the Division II level.

Terry Liggins

Liggins, a senior from Omaha, Neb., won a national title after winning the 60-meter hurdles event at last month's Division II indoor track and field championship meet.

He won his fifth All-American honor and his first national title at USD. He is the first athlete in USD and North Central Conference history to earn All-American honors in the 60-meter hurdles in all four years of competition.

Dylan Grimsley

The junior from Sioux City, Iowa, was named to the NABC Division II All-North Central District first team after leading the Coyote men's basketball team to a 22-7 record. USD appeared in its fifth-straight national tournament but fell to Northern State in the first round this past season.

The versatile guard/forward led the team in scoring with 14.8 points per game, and he shot 50 percent from the floor and 47.6 percent from three-point range.

He notched a career-high 27 points twice on the season and recorded a career-high 13 rebounds.

Brooks Little

The senior wide receiver finished his career at USD with a school-record 166 catches and had 2,395 career receiving yards. He finished tied for second with 16 career touchdowns. Last season, he had 51 catches for 775 yards and five touchdowns.

In last year's homecoming game against Western Washington, he hauled in a 51-yard touchdown pass which broke the school record for career catches.

Scott Hargens

The senior from Sioux Falls took eighth in the 800-meter run at last month's Division II indoor track and field championship meet. It was Hargen's fourth indoor All-American honor, including two in the 800-meter run.

He was also a member of the men's distance medley relay squad that earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish.
